I'm Stephanie!

I'm a book-loving, notebook-hoarding literacy teacher educator on a mission to change lives (and classrooms!) one book and one notebook at a time.

I blog about the power of a literate life, podcast about books you need to know about every week and send a little literate love out into the world every day.

I wrote Leading Literate Lives to help teachers reclaim their own reading and writing to bring a renewed sense of teaching to their classrooms. In it, I offered 54 invitations to grow your own reading and writing lives with many applications for the classroom, too. But 54 is an awfully big number. =)

So, I'm here with a step-by-step guide to help YOU reconnect with your own literate life and build a joyful reading community in your elementary classroom.

How does this work?

How It Works:

We'll meet LIVE for four weeks from 11am - 12pm EST:

• July 27
• August 3

Each week, we'll explore two sections of Leading Literate Lives together. We'll talk, engage in some literate fun and plan ways to keep the literate love going all summer long.
